The world is heavy right now.
Most of us are holding our breath just trying to make it through the day.
The Collective Exhale is a space to pause, to release what’s been sitting on your chest and remember that you’re not the only one feeling it. We can’t fix everything happening around us, but together, we can breathe through it.
Why I Created This
If I’m honest, the world has felt unbearably heavy lately.
I’m watching people lose their jobs and pay because of everything going on in the government, seeing families torn apart by deportations, witnessing the cost of living climb while wages stay still. Every headline feels like another gut punch, and beneath it all, there’s this steady hum of anxiety about where we’re headed.
And yet…we’re still showing up.
We’re parenting. Working. Loving. Trying to pray. Trying to stay hopeful. Smiling through the ache because life doesn’t stop just because our spirits are tired.
I started The Collective Exhale because I could feel how much we all needed a space to breathe.
Not to fix everything, not to debate politics, not to pretend it’s all fine but to gather and say, this is a lot, and I’m feeling it too.
As a therapist, a woman, a mother, and just a person living through these times, I’ve seen how much weight we carry in silence. Thus, I wanted to create a space where that silence could break a little, where our shared humanity could meet us in the middle.
This is a space for real people who are tired, overwhelmed, and still somehow choosing hope.
A space to remember that we’re not alone, even when the world feels like it’s unraveling.
A space to inhale grace and exhale the weight. Together.
What To Expect
Each session of The Collective Exhale is a gentle pause in the chaos.
We gather on Zoom for conversation, reflection, and community care. You don’t have to come perfect or prepared, just come as you are.
Here’s what to expect a session feels like:
Grounding: We start by checking in with ourselves and each other.
Conversation: We talk about what’s weighing on us, what’s keeping us going and discuss and share with one another ways to deal with the heaviness of life.
Reflection: We close with a shared breath, affirmation, or prayer.
No pressure. No performance. Just presence.
Who This Space Is For
This is for the ones carrying it all and still showing up.
The parents, helpers, healers, teachers, believers, and everyday people doing their best to stay grounded in a world that keeps shaking.
If you’ve been craving a space to just be, to breathe, cry, vent, pray, or sit in silence, you belong here.
When We Meet
We meet once a month on a Thursday evening at 8:30 PM EST on Zoom. Drop in rate is $10. Each session lasts about 45-60 minutes and offers time for grounding, conversation, and reflection.
You can come to one but I hope you find your way back, this is your space too.
